The file
You upload the file as it is. The skill matches your columns to HubSpot's fields regardless of language and order, checks date and number formats against your portal and shows you which rows are missing something, before anything is imported.

How it works
You do two steps. The skill does the rest, and you approve before anything is imported.
Upload the zip file to Claude and activate the skill. As soon as you drag the zip file into Claude Skills, it guides you on from there.
Write e.g. "I need our old contacts, companies and deals moved into HubSpot" and upload your Excel or CSV file as it is. No need to clean it first.
The skill checks language, date format, properties and pipelines in your portal, cleans the file, links contacts, companies and deals and finds duplicates. Anything uncertain is shown to you before it is decided.
You get a cleaned file for HubSpot's own import tool plus a technical log and a short summary for management. GDPR and consent are flagged along the way.
Before you start
Two things to check, it takes under a minute.
Required
A paid Claude plan (Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise) with "Code Execution and File Creation" enabled in settings.
Your old data file as Excel (XLSX) or CSV with a header row. Column names and order do not matter. For contacts there must be an email column.
Recommended
A connected HubSpot connector in Claude, so the skill can check language, date format, properties and pipelines in your portal itself. Without a connector it guides you to check them manually.

Frequently asked questions
Yes. You need Claude Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise with "Code Execution and File Creation" turned on in settings.
No. Columns are matched automatically, regardless of name and language. You just need one column per piece of information and a header row. For contacts, email is required.
No. The default path is a cleaned file that you run through HubSpot's import tool yourself. If you choose import via connector, you see a preview and approve first.
The skill flags rows without clear marketing consent, but it does not make the legal call for you. That is a decision for you or the person responsible.
If you used HubSpot's own import tool, you can undo the import under Import history. If data was written via connector, you have a log of every created record, so you can find them precisely.
